During the last few months, I have had the opportunity to speak with many Buy American Made Campaign supporters as I attended summer season events. Everyone feels our efforts have been directed to encouraging America’s businesses to expand their product lines which will help Americans get jobs, promote job skills and encourage businesses to produce competitive products with Made in the U.S.A. labels. Our supporters feel it is time for national leaders to follow our lead and reduce taxes and regulations on businesses so that they will expand in America and not look to locate in other countries.
A lot of people also tell me they feel that national leaders bypassed the needs and concerns of the American people by not focusing on helping private sector business create jobs for Americans, but instead focused on expanding government programs to hide the fact that businesses were moving out of America and Americans were unemployed. It’s good to see that people want more than promises and not only a lot of talk from national elected leaders. I feel the Buy American Made Campaign has shared not only a lot of suggestions, but offered ways for us to expand jobs for Americans and restore the American Made Label. Thanks for your participation. This is Michael Blichasz. Every Wednesday from 11 A.M. to 12 noon, tune in to American Workers Radio on 860 AM serving Philadelphia and the Tri-State area.
