Your Spending Habits Are Important!

Since more people are speaking up about the imbalance between American made and foreign made products available in stores, there has been a VERY positive effect on the way business is done in America.

No business person wants to hear complaints from customers, or consider that customers will shop elsewhere, so it’s in their best interest to offer a better balance of domestic and imported products so customers don’t walk out the door in search of American made items. As store owners, sales clerks and cashiers hear directly from customer spending dollars in their stores, they understand that change is necessary. If a business cares about your concerns they will contact their suppliers and request additional American Made items. The next time you shop there, ask if they were able to increase their supply of American Made products or did the store personnel ignore your concerns.

Another way to help our campaign is by supporting National Small Business Weekend, the FIRST Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month. Shopping local has been helping small businesses and keeping people employed. For more information about this effort visit: NationalSmallBusinessWeekend.com.

I also ask that you spread the word about the Buy American Made Campaign and inform others that November is being promoted as American Made Month and ask them to seek out products made and assembled in the U.S.A. Your participation is extremely important. For more information about this effort visit: AmericanMadeMonth.com
