Back to School Supplies!

In a few weeks ten-of-millions of America's youth are returning to school and families are now shopping for school supplies and clothing.

During the last 30 years Americans went from seeing the majority of school-related products made in America to being largely foreign made. In recent years, because of the efforts of the Buy American Made Campaign, more people have been looking for American made products and find that foreign made far outweighs American made.

We once again urge all American families to look for American made school supplies. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, request assistance from the store’s staff to let them know you are seeking schools supplies that are Made in the United States of America. Store personnel need to be able to let their store suppliers know that customers are asking for American made products and something needs to be done to satisfy the requests of customers so they don’t have to shop elsewhere. This changing business climate is another opportunity for businesses in America to expand their product lines and feature more American made school supplies, which are not only used at the beginning of the school year, but needed throughout the year.

Thanks for being part of the Buy American Made Campaign. Together we have helped keep businesses in America that are producing and circulating American made products.

Kindly spread this message to your family and friends so we can keep Americans employed making school supplies and all products that should be made in America again.
