The sons and daughters of people who immigrated to America over the years tell me that their parents say that outsourcing manufacturing jobs has not been favorable to America's future. They tell me their parents say jobs were always plentiful and in some cases they worked overtime regularly to keep up with the demand for the products being purchased by the American people. The response is the same from people whose families were born and raised in America, their families were fully employed, producing, shipping, selling, servicing or managing the production of products proudly made in the United States of America. Today, the challenge we face is restoring JOBS so employment opportunities will be plentiful once again. We are now faced with enticing private sector businesses to bring about a new modern industrial revolution in the U.S.A. and one important way America’s consumers can help in this endeavor is by focusing our buying habits on products made and assembled in the U.S.A. After watching national leaders focus on a global economy and pass trade agreements that promote globalization without considering the harm that outsourcing jobs would cause America's economy and American workers, it’s very clear that it’s up to America’s consumers to be a leading force in bringing about some desperately needed changes in the United States of America. The Buy American Made Campaign has been helping people better understand that America's consumers have more power than they realize simply by directing their dollars to American made products FIRST. Today, millions of people are going out of their way to support the Buy American Made Campaign, but we need more Americans to get involved. Your participation is VERY IMPORTANT and you are asked to spread the word to others and look for, ask for, and purchase American made products FIRST!
