Time To Be All American!

After seeing what has happened to America's workforce, economy and educational system since the 1970's, I'm sure that you agree that Americans need to focus on America FIRST!

As we celebrate America's Declaration of Independence and recall the principles that inspired the July 4, 1776 document, let's refocus on rebuilding America by restoring jobs and revitalizing our economy and our way of life.

This is also an opportunity to consider the importance of the United States Constitution, a document that governs the relationship of the federal government with states, citizens, and all people within the U.S.A.

In speaking about America's Constitution, Patrick Henry once said, "The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests". I encourage you to consider the current state of America from that perspective.

A review of the free trade agreements approved in Washington, DC over the past few decades show us that they did not delivered what national elected officials promised. Instead, the free trade agreements have promoted outsourcing of America's industries and produced a very harmful trade deficit since 1973, which, in turn, has contributed to the current downturn in our economy. Washington's focus on the global economy has diminished the quality of life for Americans.

It is Time To Be All American once again and restore appreciation for the ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness which simply means living in a nation where life is cherished, a nation where you are free from oppressors, use your skills to support yourself, and be happy.

As we celebrate Independence Day, I urge you to purchase products made, distributed, sold, and serviced by American workers. If we stick together, spend our dollars wisely and speak up for AMERICA as our founding fathers did 235 years ago, positive changes will happen!
