Our Fellow Americans Need Us!

There are millions of working-age and able-bodied Americans and recent college and high school graduates who would welcome quality job opportunities.  The American people can help America’s businesses and American workers to expand more quality jobs in the United States by focusing more of their buying power on products made and services provided by American workers.

Many supporters are talking about hundreds of items that should be made in America again. One of the most frequent items discussed is the cell phone, used daily by over 310 million Americans. Cell phones were once mainly made in America, but their production was outsourced to foreign workers to save money for corporations and investors. At first, Americans thought that only a small portion of the cell phones would be made overseas. However, as we all see this one product has caused a major loss of jobs for American workers from technology to production and mainly provides American workers jobs with the sale and distribution of foreign made cell phones and accessories. Today over 310 million Americans use their foreign made cell phones to conduct business and to communicate with their family and friends on a regular basis.

America’s consumers feel that major corporations have an opportunity to restore domestic production of no less than 50 percent of the cell phones and hundreds of other items purchased by the American people on a regular basis. With all of us focused on supporting American made, more American workers can be employed making the products American use most, not simply being the sales people for foreign made products where we shop.

Thanks for your participation. Kindly spread the word and make your concerns known to the managers and staff at the places where you shop.
