How Are We Doing?

Every once in a while it’s good to look back on our efforts to support American workers and the businesses that employ them. We can all agree that the efforts of the Buy American Made Campaign have more people not only discussing the need for more jobs and job skills in America, but also have motivated people to go out and not only speak up in support of American made, but also shop local, which is another way to support American workers.
If I were giving out a report card, I feel an A Plus is an appropriate mark for supporters of the Buy American Made Campaign because individuals, families, neighbors, community organizations, radio broadcasts, newspapers and Internet sites have been demonstrating support for American workers and the need to restore no less than 50% of products sold in America with the American made labels.  When people ask what more can be done to change the employment situation in America, my response is to keep supporting American workers and the businesses that make and assemble products in the U.S.A. and support the stores and Internet sites that sell American made products.

Make every day, a day to support the country where you live so our family members and friends have jobs to support themselves and get back to being the nation where anything is possible if we stay focused on opportunities to help one another.
