Positive Example Has Been Priceless!

For many years, the Buy American Made Campaign has been urging our supporters to look at every label of the items being considered for purchase to see where the item was made. The results from this effort have been very positive and Americans are now looking at labels and reacting accordingly before making a purchase.
During 2018, we have expanded our campaign to encourage America’s businesses to promote on their labels and packaging that their products are made or assembled in the United States. This part of our campaign has been very successful and has also alerted America’s consumers about how many of our industries have been lost to foreign countries. We now better understand how much more we have to support the Buy American Made Campaign to restore America’s industries and achieve our goal of no less than 50% of what is sold in America having a made in the U.S.A. label.

We have all seen several positive changes lately with reduced unemployment rates and we have been hearing that more businesses are expanding in America. We also see that it’s going to take a lot of job training to retool Americans who have been out of the workforce for years and need to be retained to be employed in the new modern industries seeking to expand in America.

On a positive note, I remember ten years ago when people were telling me nothing will change in America. Well, I think we have been seeing some positive changes taking place right before our eyes mainly because more Buy American Made supporters are spending their hard earned dollars on products and services provided by American workers. I feel our supporters have been helping change the way business is being done in the United States of America.
