No New Taxes Until We Reach 5%

It is disappointing to see that national elected leaders neglected the long-term well-being of the American people for many years. In order to make up for lost time, I'm suggesting that all elected leaders direct all of their efforts to improving the climate for private sector businesses to expand in the U.S.A. Americans need employment opportunities to rise, job skills to increase and a businesses climate where businesses can make a fair profit and not be forced to outsource jobs because they are being over regulated and over taxed in America. If more funds are needed to stimulate business, it is time to cut the cost of government services, including elected officials' salaries, benefits and travel expenses.

I’m suggesting that there be NO NEW TAXES permitted at any level, federal, state or local government UNTIL America's unemployment rate is reduced to 5% or below and the unemployment rate remains at 5 % for at least 3 years. I'm sure we all agree that if our economy and incomes are not growing, how can people be asked to pay more taxes, and why would new taxes even be considered!

It is time for government costs to be carefully monitored and an opportunity for the national media to follow government spending and report on the efforts of our national leaders to stabilize America's economy. The American people should be well informed of what their taxes are supporting and be informed of the efforts of America's national leaders to reduce taxes and get America's unemployment rate back down to 5%.

The growth in government expenses has caused the 15 TRILLION debt that America's National Elected Leaders approved claiming the national debt was necessary and in our best interest and for our national security. I feel 24 million new job opportunities are what would be in the best interest of America. To help us reach our goals, I urge you to contact your elected officials, spend your dollars supporting America's businesses employing American workers and in the process see more items made in the U.S.A. available at the stores where we shop.
