The Heart and Soul of America!

Every day things are changing in America because the people who represent the Heart and Soul of America are focused on the plight of American workers and the businesses that employ them. For many years Americans believed that America’s national elected leaders were focused on ways help private sector businesses expand in the United States of America which would produce more jobs for our nation’s growing population. That has not been the case and millions of jobs continue to be lost to outsourcing and growing Trade Agreements which benefit foreign workers more than American workers.

Today America’s population is over 323 million strong. 151 million Americans have full and part time jobs, and 45 million working age and able-body Americans are in need of full and part time jobs. If businesses were urged by our national leaders to expand in America, employment would be low because we would be producing a majority of the products sold in America with Made in America labels. As a result of poor leadership, a large percentage of the products sold in America are foreign made while millions of Americans remain unemployed and jobs skills are being lost.

Everyone involved with the Buy American Made Campaign thanks all who are speaking up in support of American made where they shop and for spending as much of their dollars as possible on products made and assembled in the U.S.A. Not until we reach the goal of 50% of everything sold in America being made in America will we see the benefits of employment and economic growth for American workers and America’s economy. With your help we strive to reach our goals.

You are also urged to support your local businesses throughout the year and during SPECIAL efforts like National Small Business Weekend, the FIRST Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month. This effort promotes local small businesses which employ more than 60 million Americans across the U.S.A. You are asked to spread the word to others and for more information about this effort and for some promotional posters, visit: NationalSmallBusinessWeekend.com.
