Yes, We Live in a Global Economy, But...

Through our efforts to support American workers, there have been many quality ideas shared and millions of people are more aware and concerned about the future of America. All of us agree that we live in a global economy, BUT that doesn't mean we want imported products overwhelming our stores while our industries downsize or close and Americans lose JOBS, JOB SKILLS and the ability to support themselves and their families.

For several years we have promoted a 50/50 balance between American made and foreign made in America's stores. As our supporters are speaking up, we see that more businesses are promoting the fact that their products are either fully or partially made in the U.S.A. I see more products with a small American flag on the packaging or labeling that displays America's red, white & blue.

As a result of our Buy American Made efforts and to show their support for American workers, more businesses are listing on their items that they are assembled in America with foreign made parts. The bottom line is that we live in a global economy and must acknowledge that we want Americans employed in every level of America's workforce whether items are fully or partially made in the U.S.A.

When you go shopping look at the labels of the products you plan to purchase and consider our efforts to support American Workers. Shop around because there are more and more American made products available these days and the manufacturers, merchandisers and businesses featuring American made products are depending on us to purchase them.

Recently we discussed "What Percentage of your CAR was made in America". This link will give you a good idea of what percentage of your car was made or assembled in America. Kindly invite others to check out how much of their car was made in the U.S.A. and continue to spread the word about all efforts to support American workers.
