70% of America's Economy is Based on Consumer Spending!

We have seen businesses growing in the United States as America’s consumers are directing more of their spending to support the products made and assembled by American workers. This is especially important since 70% of America’s economy is based on Americans purchasing products for everyday use.

Thirty five years ago, the majority of items Americans purchased were made in the United States. Today as we look at labels we see that large numbers of the products for sale are made in foreign countries by foreign workers and shipped to the United States for sale, bypassing American-based businesses and American workers.

With the new focus on the Buy American Made Campaign, we have helped to unite America's consumers and re-awaken the spirit of innovation, technology and manufacturing in the United States. This has allowed tens-of-millions of Americans to have long-term employment opportunities, which is benefiting America and our future.

With 70% of America's economy based on consumer spending, let’s work together to ensure that a growing percentage of items sold in the United States reflect the jobs and skills of American workers.
