National Small Business Weekend
The First Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Every Month
Supports American Businesses & American Workers

For the last 2 years, I urged our supporters to help us promote "National Small Business Weekend" the First Friday, Saturday and Sunday of EVERY month. This effort has benefited many businesses by encouraging people to share their purchasing power with locally-owned businesses that employ more than 60 million American workers. Additionally, 70% of every dollar spent at local businesses is re-circulated within local economies.

Promoting
Helps Support
60 Million
American Workers
Many stores are still filled with large amounts of foreign made products, but there continues to be improvement as America’s industries place more of their products in circulation as more consumers seek out American made. Shopping locally has also provided people with opportunities to speak up in support of American made and allow business owners to see how customers are directing their spending power. As you shop around let store personnel know that you are a supporter of the Buy American Made Campaign and be sure they know about “National Small Business Weekend”. For more information and promotional posters visit our Internet site: NationalSmallBusinessWeekend.com.

Shopping at local stores has been helping communities in several ways:

1. Local people have remained employed.

2. Local delivery and marketing services are being utilized.

3. As a customer you are helping local stores remain in business and the manufactures they purchase supplies from also remain in business and be able to expand their lines of American made goods, maintain present jobs and create more job opportunities.

4. The taxes generated through payroll and business taxes help support local communities as well as state and federal government services.

Working together we have created a win-win situation for everyone. There is still a lot of work to be done, but with your help good things continue to happen.
