Your Support for Local Businesses is Important!

The spring season is here and we will all be out shopping and enjoying the better weather. While shopping, look for products made in the United States of America. and help us promote the Buy American Made Campaign and efforts like "National Small Business Weekend" the First Friday, Saturday and Sunday of EVERY month. America’s small businesses benefit when you use your purchasing power at locally-owned businesses that employ more than 60 million American workers across the United States.  Additionally, 70% of every dollar you spend at local businesses is re-circulated within your local economy which helps your local community.

Shopping locally and having customers asking for American made products gives businesses the incentive to seek out more American made products to satisfy the requests from their customers. Shopping at local businesses also helps communities in several ways:

1.
Local people remain employed.
2.
Local stores can remain in business and the manufactures they purchase supplies from also benefit, along with Americans they keep employed.
3.
The taxes generated through payroll and business taxes help support local communities as well as state and federal government services.

Working together we have created a win-win situation for everyone. There is still a lot of work to be done, but with your help good things continue to happen. For more information about National Small Business Weekend visit NationalSmallBusinessWeekend.com or AmericanWorkersRadio.com.
