Rebuild America's Industries!

As America's consumers we have the POWER to turn the tide of our economy and its industries simply by using our PURCHASING POWER WISELY. It is important to note that as an "American Workers' Advocate", I am not against imported products. I am for a BALANCED trade policy that would bring about equal numbers of imported and domestic products in our stores.

Today as we go shopping, it is discouraging to see how often there are NO American made items on the shelves or hangers. This should never have happened with America's industries! Unfortunately it did happen, so our goal is to get through the tough times by SUPPORTING the businesses still manufacturing in the U.S.A. and show investors that they will be supported by the American people as they expand and rebuild America's industries. If we do not work toward rebuilding manufacturing in the U.S.A., there will be little growth in America's job base since America's service-oriented economy has already reached its peak.

As you shop, look to see how many brands of TV's, radios, cell phones, refrigerators, stoves, and computers are made in the U.S.A. Then ask yourself why can't at least 50% of those items be made in the U.S.A again? The restoration of just 50% of the clothing and electronics industries in America would produce tens of millions of jobs.

I urge you to shop around with the goal of supporting American workers and buy American made FIRST. Help us keep people now employed on the job and pave the way for new industries to invest in America. Restoring America is up to the American people and it will happen if we USE OUR PURCHASING POWER WISELY. Spread the word to your family and friends.
