Throughout the coronavirus pandemic support for American workers and American Made has continued to grow. Americans see the hardship caused to family and friends whose businesses were forced to downsize or close. Americans see the difficulty of not being able to celebrate holidays and special occasion with family and friends as our freedom has been restricted in order to protect ourselves and everyone close to us from the coronavirus.
For years, people seeking American made products have been claiming they feel helpless because it is very difficult to find American made items, especially clothing, electronics, household items and thousands of other products they want to purchase. Now that more people are looking closely at labels they see for themselves that most products available in the United States are made everywhere but America. Getting more industries to expand in the United States where we know our fellow Americans need the jobs is not going to happen overnight. It’s going to take years, but we can make it happen sooner by seeking out and supporting what is made in American right now. When business owners see that American made is in greater demand, they will work more closely with America's industries to make more products available. Thanks for your participation. American workers need us. This is Michael Blichasz. Every Wednesday from 11 A.M. to 12 noon, tune in to American Workers Radio on 860 AM serving Philadelphia and the Tri-State area.
