You Are Making A Difference!

Through the Buy American Made Campaign our supporters are seeking to restore the industries that will manufacture at least 50% of the products presently available in U.S. stores. This is not an unrealistic goal since this is the way things were 30 years ago. It is a goal that can be realized if we spend our dollars wisely and stand up for American made FIRST.

Restoring just 50% of America's clothing industries would itself be a major boost to America's workers and America's economy. When I walk into a store, I want to have a choice between an American made or imported product, which is not the case at this time.

Regarding the Equal Trade Balance with America's trading partners, it is good to hear that Americans want to see business leaders outline a more realistic trade balance. We all agree that an Equal Trade Balance must be accomplished through the efforts of private sector businesses who in return will benefit, as customers seek out items with a made in the U.S.A. label.

I have discussed restoring a more Business Friendly Tax structure with several political leaders. At this point, America needs its leaders to unite their efforts and make America not only a more business friendly nation again, but the best nation in the world to do business.

In my discussions with business owners, they state that too many taxes, restrictions and demands drove businesses out of the U.S.A. They agree that until all leaders sit down and work together very little will change. Therefore, I ask that you contact your local and state level elected officials and let them know how important a more business friendly tax structure would be for America. If you want more employment opportunities to return to the U.S. you have to be part of the solution, not just sit back and hope that others will take action. Don't hesitate to speak up where you shop, ask your family and friends to do the same and spend your dollars in support of American made products FIRST!
