We Want Our Fellow Americans to be Successful!
|
|
I’m sure we agree that everyone’s wants to be successful. I’m sure everyone also wants their children, family and friends to be successful. It is one of the reasons we encourage everyone to support the Buy American Made Campaign, because it supports businesses in America that need to be successful so they can continue to employ our fellow Americans making, distributing and selling products proudly made in the United States.
In 2012, the Buy American Made Campaign began promoting National Small Business Weekend, the First Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month. This effort encourages everyone to shop local and provides an opportunity for us to inform local store owners that our support helps keep more than 60 million Americans employed, and the majority of the money spent at local businesses is re-circulated within the local economy.
Let everyone know that support for local businesses helps in many ways, including:
1. |
Local residents remain employed. |
2. |
Local delivery and marketing services continue to be utilized as they help keep people employed. |
3. |
Local, as well as federal and state, taxes are collected through the payroll and business tax system and used to support local, state and federal government services. |
4. |
As customers shop local, they also have an opportunity to seek out American made products that help American based manufacturing facilities remain open and keep people employed in the United States of America. |
Thanks for spreading the word about National Small Business Weekend, the First Friday, Saturday and Sunday of EVERY MONTH. We welcome your comments and suggestions. Email them to: Michael@AmericanWorkersRadio.com.
