In our FIRST commentary of the New Year 2020, everyone was asked to support American workers and the businesses that manufacture, distribute and sell their products in the United States. We also asked everyone to promote the Buy American Made Campaign to family and friends and let everyone know where you are making your purchases of American made products and encourage others to shop there. There are also many other major impacts that happen when you spend and circulate your money on American made. Why? Because EMPLOYED Americans are able to spend the money they earn to support themselves and their families. American workers also pay taxes that support America’s education system and local community services. American workers contribute toward the social security system, the repairs of America’s roads and bridges and the defense of the United States of America just to name a few. I don’t see foreign workers providing these types of benefits to America and its economy so supporting American Made First helps all Americans in more ways than we realize.
