The Key to Positive Changes!

The holiday shopping season is your opportunity to support the many industries operating in the U.S.A., businesses that could have accepted offers to move their industries overseas to cut expenses and increase profits. The growing support from America’s consumers has been encouraging businesses operating in America to remain in America where the majority of their customers live and need jobs. Presently, 80% of the American people are employed by small and medium sized businesses which represent a variety of manufacturing facilities, retail stores in local neighborhoods and shopping malls. All of America’s businesses depend on you to shop at their place of business to keep employees on the job, pay operational expenses and make a profit to share with investors.

Shopping at local businesses, especially those that offer a reasonable balance of items made in America alongside imported products is the best place to make your purchases. While you’re out shopping make it a point to let store clerks know that you support the Buy American Made Campaign and that you make it a point to shop at stores that offer a reasonable selection of American made items.

I want you to know that there continues to be a growing number of American made products available in the U.S.A. However, the distributors that supply our stores and store owners often bypass American made products because the profit margin on imported items is much greater. As a result of this mindset an overwhelming amount of imported products are now sold in the U.S.A. which continues to hurt America’s manufacturers and American workers.

With so much hustle and bustle in our daily lives, we don’t often consider the importance of supporting local businesses and how important local businesses are to communities where we live and America’s over-all economy. Directing more of your purchasing power to local businesses and American made products has been helping to make a positive change happen in the U.S.A. as we work toward a 50-50 balance of what is being sold in America’s stores. I wonder how many more industries would have left the U.S.A. if we didn’t unite behind the goals of the Buy American Made Campaign and American workers. Your participation is VERY IMPORTANT and the key to our success!
