It continues to be reported that more holiday sales represent American made items. My THANKS to everyone that contacted me to let me know that they are directing their dollars to support American made products and their local businesses. Directing your dollars to American made continues to help American workers, from stockers to cashiers, store managers, merchandisers and the people who manufactured the items that you purchased.
I know that imported products still overwhelm our stores, but the good news is that more businesses are reporting that American made products were moving off store shelves this year. I believe it’s because so many people are fully behind efforts like the Buy American Made Campaign and are shopping for American made FIRST.
I urge you to bring up the positive efforts of the Buy American Made Campaign during your holiday get-togethers and invite others to visit: AmericanWorkersRadio.com. On that site there are several links promoting efforts to change America's economy and allow skilled workers to return to work and in the process allow more workers to learn the skills needed to help restore America's industries and America’s economy.
Throughout the New Year we will ask you to promote our 2017 theme: “Support The American Made Label”. This theme will help us expand our efforts. However, as you have seen for yourself, the most important aspect of our campaign is to seek out American Made First.
Thanks for your help. Best wishes to you and yours for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thanks for spreading the word about our efforts. Email your suggestions to: Michael@AmericanWorkersRadio.com.
