America Already Has A Lot of Consumers!

If each of us looked at ourselves as well as our family and friends, we could Safely say that America already has a very large consumer society. That is a fact. However, in more recent decades we saw America’s consumers buying whatever was available without consideration of how our purchases affect the well-being of American workers and America’s economy.

Through the Buy American Made Campaign we have been asking our well-established consumer society to focus more of their spending on products made in the United States so we can keep American workers employed. We have urged tens-of-millions of our supporters to promote manufacturing in the United States because with manufacturing there are many levels of jobs created to get a product to market. In the last few years, as manufacturing is expanding in the United States we see there is an urgent need to expand more trade related classes in America’s schools so that there will be enough workers to fill jobs right now and in the future.

During this holiday season, help us promote efforts like the Buy American Made Campaign which has been making a major impact on the way consumers are making purchases and is encouraging businesses to expand their product lines in the United States.
