Be A Positive Example

During this holiday season, I urge you to "Be A Positive Example" to your family and friends by seeking out gift items with a Made in the U.S.A. label. We all realize that this is not always an easy thing to accomplish, but things are changing for the better because more people have been speaking up. If we want those positive changes to continue, we have to demonstrate our choice to support American made products and use our purchasing power to support America's economy.

American workers need you to fill your shopping bags with items they produced, and support stores that feature American made items, especially your local community stores. They have a stake in the well-being of the community where their business is located. Not only are local stores employing local people, they are also more likely to support customers' requests for more products made in the U.S.A. At this point, America is flooded with imported products and it must be our united goal to reverse this trend and restore jobs and stability for America's workers and economy.

It is mainly because the American people accepted a growing number of imported products to replace what was normally made in the U.S.A. that we find ourselves in times of growing unemployment. Speaking up at stores and directing our purchasing power in support of products made by America's workforce will help expand opportunities to modernize America's industries and get millions of people back to work.

During the holiday season, and at all times, I urge you to spend your hard-earned dollars on items you know are supporting America’s industries, and employing people who will be able to earn a living and support themselves and their families.

On the front page of my Internet site: AmericanWorkersNeedYou.com, I have posted many links highlighting why your support is so important. I encourage you to view the entire site and spread the word. American workers need us!
