Support America's Manufacturers & Local Businesses!

With the Holiday Shopping season in full swing, America’s businesses are grateful to all shoppers supporting their stores. As you’re out shopping, I encourage you to look at the labels on what you’re preparing to purchase and support as many American Made products as possible.

For over two centuries America’s businesses have been the back bone of America's employment base and America’s economy. Every time you purchase American made products and shop at stores that offer a growing selection of American made products you reward several levels of American workers and show American based businesses that it pays to manufacture and sell products with made in America labels.

During the last 25 years foreign made labels were widely viewed as products that saved America’s consumers money. However, as a result of outsourcing too many manufacturing jobs to foreign countries, large numbers of working-age and able-bodied Americans are unemployed and many levels of jobs skills have been lost to outsourcing. As more Americans are united to restore at least 50% of everything sold in America being made in America, we have seen some positive changes taking place with manufacturing in the U.S.A and more stores featuring American made products.

Another opportunity to support our efforts is to seek out American made labels as you’re out shopping during the December 2015 edition of National Small Business Weekend on Friday, December 4th, Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. This effort takes place the FIRST WEEKEND of every month, but during December more people are shopping for Christmas Holiday gifts and your local stores and America’s manufacturers appreciate your business.

A special thanks to everyone that supported American Made Month during November. Working together we have been seeing positive results because of supporters of the Buy American Made Campaign. Your participation is sincerely appreciated. Kindly continue to spread the word. Email your comments and suggestions to me at: Michael@AmericanWorkersRadio.com.
