A Time to Focus on America

Throughout November, which our supporters have joined me in proclaiming as “American Made Month”, we are asking everyone to make an extra effort to seek out products made and assembled in the U.S.A. During this special month long campaign we ask you to consider every way possible to support the private sector businesses that keep many levels of Americans employed. We all know that America needs tens of millions of jobs for its people and we have seen what the aftermath of a lack of jobs and a prolonged recession can do to a nation and its economy. With your support we have been able to save jobs for American workers and help businesses remain stable.

As we begin American Made Month, there are several ways you can help bring attention to the Buy American Made Campaign and demonstrate your support for American workers:

1.Go out and VOTE in the General Election on Tuesday, November 4th so America’s leaders see that voters are concerned about their future.

2.On Friday, November 7th, Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th, we will mark the November edition of National Small Business Weekend. Support your local businesses.

3.On Veterans Day, November 11th, honor America’s veterans and promote American Made Products.

4. During the Weekend of November 14th, 15th & 16th, promote American Made items that you find will make great gifts for the holidays.

5. Thursday, November, 27th, Thanksgiving Day, encourage family and friends to support the Buy American Made Campaign and jobs for American workers.

6. On Friday, November 28th, known as Black Friday, as you’re out shopping, focus on everything possible that is American Made.

7. Saturday, November 29th, is National “Small Business Saturday” and another opportunity to support America’s small businesses.

8. Sunday, November 30th, the last day of American Made Month, consider what else can be done to make the holiday shopping season a success for American Made products.
