The coronavirus pandemic and the resulting supply chain interruptions from foreign countries has brought additional attention to the efforts of Buy American Made Campaign. As America’s consumers are looking more closely at the labels on clothing, electronics and general products, they agree it’s time to restore America’s manufacturing base. The National Referendum would be approved by the VOTERS during a general election and sent to the United States Congress to be enacted. During the last 35 years, over 70,000 well-established American businesses moved overseas to reduce operational costs. Getting 50% of those businesses to return at least 50% of their manufacturing to the United States would bring about a major surge in jobs and prosperity in America. Thousands of new industries in America would create new jobs and job skills. Right now, merchandisers in the United States say that they are forced to offer imported products because Made in the U.S.A. labels are not that available to them. With your support, the loss of industries has been reduced, but we have a lot of work to do in order to return industries to where they should be in the year 2021. As we continue to promote November as American Made Month, spend more of your dollars on American made and spread the word to family and friends and invite them to visit: AmericanMadeMonth.com.
