Ongoing political ads and news reports regarding the upcoming election contain lots of words but don't provide detailed remedies as to how they plan to work with private sector businesses so they have every opportunity to restore America's industries, jobs and economy.
If any of us got a flat tire on the road, we would go out of our way to get the flat tire fixed as quickly as possible so we could get moving again. Unfortunately, America's national elected leaders watched job growth go flat for years and took no action to fix the reasons why jobs were being lost. In better times they did not see the need to insure that America's private sector businesses were able to grow, employ people and compete in the new global economy. Now the prolonged recession has made the need for jobs a crisis situation. Since America's leaders did not bring business owners together as jobs were being outsourced, foreign countries have had years to lure America's industries overseas. The lack of action by America's leaders made it easier for private sector businesses to build industries overseas, instead of the leadership and incentives needed to permit America's industries to grow on the shores of the U.S.A. I urge you to contact the people campaigning for your VOTE and ask them to mail you a copy of the federal and state levels plans they are supporting to help private sector industries restore jobs in the U.S.A. Do it now because once the election is over the need to address your concerns will be less important to them. This is Michael Blichasz.
