November is American Made Month!

The supporters of the Buy American Made Campaign have once again proclaimed November as “American Made Month and ask you to make an extra effort to seek out products made and assembled in the U.S.A. During this month long campaign, consider every way possible to support the private sector businesses that keep Americans employed.

As we begin American Made Month, there are several ways you can help bring attention to the Buy American Made Campaign and demonstrate your support for American workers and PROMOTE local, state and national businesses that manufacture, assemble, distribute and sell American made products.

We ask for your support in the following ways:

1. November 3rd is National Election Day, an opportunity to vote for political leaders who support efforts to expand the American Made Campaign and jobs for Americans, from the self-employed to individuals employed by major corporations.

2. Friday, November 6th, Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th, go out of your way to support National Small Business Weekend, which is held the first full weekend of every month.

3. November 11th, Veterans Day, a time to honor veterans and promote jobs for America’s veterans and all American workers.

4. Weekend of November 13th, 14th & 15th, promote American Made items, list the places where they are sold with a focus on the items that will make great gifts for the holidays.

5. November, 26th, Thanksgiving Day, a time to give thanks and unite our family, friends and neighbors to support the Buy American Made Campaign and jobs for American workers.

6. Friday, November 27th, Black Friday, focus on American Made EVERYTHING, so American made businesses benefit.

7. November 28th, Small Business Saturday, a national event to support America’s small businesses and another opportunity to seek out American made products.

8. November 29th and 30th, the last days of American Made Month and an opportunity to consider what else can be done to make the balance of the holiday shopping season a success for the businesses manufacturing, assembling, promoting, distributing and selling American Made.
