November, "American Made Month"

For the last few months I have announced that during the entire month of November, American Workers Radio will expand its efforts to promote America's businesses and the industries manufacturing and assembling products in the U.S.A. Everyone is asked to participate. This effort is to focus on ways to circulate more of our money on products and services that support American workers. During November we encourage you to promote businesses that manufacture, assemble, distribute and sell American made items and there are 8 ways we ask for you to help:

1. On Tuesday, November 4th, National Election Day, vote for political leaders who support ways to expand jobs in America.

2. On Friday, November 7th, Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th, go out of your way to support National Small Business Weekend, which is always held the first full weekend of every month.

3. On November 11th, Veterans Day, honor veterans and promote jobs for America’s veterans and all American workers.

4. During the Weekend of November 14th, 15th & 16th, promote American Made items to your family and friends, especially items that will make great gifts for the holidays.

5. Thursday, November, 27th, Thanksgiving Day, a time to give thanks and encourage family and friends to support the Buy American Made Campaign which means more jobs for American workers.

6. Friday, November 28th, Black Friday, a time to seek out American Made EVERYTHING possible.

7. Saturday, November 29th, is Small Business Saturday and another opportunity to support America’s small businesses.

8. Sunday, November 30th, the last day of American Made Month and a time to consider what else can be done to make the holiday shopping season a success for American Made products.

OUR efforts to promote American Made take place 24 hours a day – 7 days a week and 365 days a year. We are asking people to change their buying habits and focus their dollars on American Made everything. Thanks for helping us spread the word. For more information and a special poster to promote this efforts visit our Internet site: AmericanMadeMonth.com.
