For hundreds of years, Americans worked hard to support themselves and their families. That was possible because there were many private sector industries, small businesses, or self-employment opportunities for working-age and able-bodied people. Today, American workers are in competition with a growing number of workers from around the world. In order for us to return to being a nation of MANY LEVELS of Employment Opportunities, we have to restore no less than a 50/50 balance of what we purchase be available with a made in America label. As we look at what took place in the United States in the past, we see that for too many years America's leaders spent their time and our money on issues that did not promote the well-being of the American people. At this time everyone is urged to contact their national leaders and let them know we want them to direct more of their time and OUR money on incentives that will keep businesses in America and attract more private sector businesses to the United States. America has become top heavy with service-oriented jobs. It is very good to hear that industries are interested in expanding in America, however, it is disappointing that private sector businesses constantly report that they can't find enough skilled workers to remain or move back to America to make it a cost effective experience. For the well-being of your children and grandchildren, contact national and the state level elected leaders who received our votes and ask them to do more to help businesses remain in the United States.
